Lady voted in as new Club Captain (March 01, 2008) A leap year proposal meets with an acceptance.
We don't know if its a first but Silverstone Golf Club has elected a woman in the position of Club Captain for the forthcoming year. Mrs Nikki Turbayne was voted in at the AGM held on the 29th February. May we all wish her every sucess in her new roll.
